My name is Ginger Hill and I am the Director of the Jackson County Family Resource Center. I have a bachelor’s degree in sociology and special education. I have worked in the Human Services field for several years.

I oversee the daily functions of the Family Resource Center. Parenting is one of the most rewarding jobs. However, parenting is hard work! I enjoy serving the families and children in Western North Carolina and being an advocate for these families and children. I am very passionate about the services the FRC has to offer and excited about the future of the Family Resource Center.

I love being a parent! I have two boys that I enjoy spending time with. Our favorite pastime as a family is playing in the water, rather it be the lake or the beach.

My name is Carrie Swanson and I am the Respite Coordinator at the Jackson County Family Resource Center. I have a degree in Human Services and I am slowly working on my Bachelor’s. I have worked at REACH, Early Head Start at Macon Program for Progress and Migrant Head Start with East Coast Migrant Head Start Project. I am blessed to now be working as a Respite Coordinator at the Family Resource Center for all seven counties. I believe God has opened this door for me and I am very thankful to be working with and getting to know the families and caregivers in the surrounding communities. I believe that God answers prayers and he has placed me here to help make a difference while working with the families and caregivers that participate in our program. “Be careful for nothing: but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Phil. 4:6
