April is Prevent Child Abuse and Neglect month. The Jackson County Family Resource Center decided to make a garden to bring awareness about child abuse and neglect. The four year old class at Southwestern Child Development Center came to the FRC and helped Amber Clayton, Program Coordinator plant a variety of flowers. The children and staff had a great time! The children absolutely loved playing in the dirt. One of the boys keeps asking his teacher when the class gets to come back and work in the garden.
